Jerome Love, President, Texas Black Expo
Jerome Love is the founder and President of Black Expo of Houston, LLC, producers of the nationally-recognized Houston Black Expo, which is the largest African American tradeshow in the state of Texas. He earned a B.S. in corporate communications with a minor in business from The University of Texas at Austin. During his tenure at the University of Texas, Love had a brief stint in corporate America, which motivated his entrepreneurial ambitions.

Shannon Cormier, Ph.D., Executive VP, Texas Black Expo Vice President & Community Development Manager, Washington Mutual
Dr. Shannon Cormier, a native Houstonian and an entrepreneurial and economic development specialist, earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research concentration focuses upon the development of micro-enterprise in minority communities and the socioeconomic transformation of underprivileged emerging markets through the wealth-creating activity of business enterprise.
