Set in a black boardinghouse in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1911, the play revolves around a group of characters that live in the boardinghouse seeking to find their ‘song.’. The scene being portrayed takes place between Reuben and Zonia, the two young people in the play who discuss the activities that take place in the house and how their lives are affected by them. |
