Join us on Monday April 2nd at Houston’s number one networking luncheon, the HBE Lunch & Learn. April’s seminar is entitled, “The Power of Public Relations”, “How To Build Your Business with an Effective P. R. Plan".
This dynamic seminar will be presented by Tony Wyllie, Vice-President of Communications for the Houston Texans. Wyllie was hired as Vice President of Communications in the summer of 2000. He is responsible for shaping and molding the image of the team in the public and the community.
Three times Wyllie has been part of a staff that has earned the Pete Rozelle award, which is presented annually by Pro Football Writers of America to the outstanding NFL public relations staff. Wyllie serves on numerous Boards of Directors including the Ensemble Theatre in Houston, the John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science, and the Touchdown Club of Houston.
Attendees of April’s lunch & learn will be taught the difference between marketing & public relations. In addition they will learn practical steps to developing a P.R. campaign that will help create a positive image for their business which will add money to their bottom line.
